The Email Marketing Manager should have 4-6 years of experience in email marketing, marketing operations, or lifecycle automation, preferably in a SaaS or B2B environment. Deep expertise with HubSpot, including workflows, segmentation, admin tools, and reporting is required. Exceptional attention to detail, a strong editing eye, and the ability to write, edit, and QA marketing emails are essential. A strong understanding of email deliverability, compliance (e.g., CAN-SPAM), and marketing contact management, along with analytical skills and experience building dashboards, is also necessary. Experience working in a regulated industry or highly sensitive environment, such as financial services, healthcare, or fintech, is preferred.
The Email Marketing Manager will own the execution, workflow automation, and HubSpot infrastructure for email marketing programs. This includes writing and editing email communications, contributing to campaign content by suggesting improvements, and serving as a core contributor to the email content pipeline. They will manage the HubSpot platform, including hygiene, contact management, and integrations, and build/optimize workflows for various automations. Responsibilities also include monitoring contact limits and suppression rules, building and maintaining QA and launch checklists, setting up internal alerts and reporting mechanisms, and identifying process improvements. Additionally, the role involves building dashboards and reports in HubSpot to monitor campaign performance, collaborating on analysis and optimization, and surfacing insights based on performance trends. This position also requires managing the intake process for marketing communications across teams, ensuring requests are scoped, prioritized, and executed.
