The Email Operations Manager should have experience in managing the operational backbone of lifecycle marketing efforts, ensuring precision and impact in campaigns and automated flows. Responsibilities include implementation, reporting, technology oversight, and process optimization. A passion for the company's mission is key, and experience with email marketing legal standards like CAN-SPAM and GDPR is necessary. Familiarity with reporting tools such as Looker and experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) are also beneficial.
The Email Operations Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns and automated flows, ensuring on-time delivery and quality. This includes leading training for contractors, building and maintaining reporting frameworks, partnering with analytics teams for automated dashboards, and surfacing actionable insights. The role also involves overseeing the lifecycle marketing tech stack, identifying and integrating new tools, maintaining vendor relationships, identifying inefficiencies, standardizing workflows, and implementing best practices to improve campaign performance and team efficiency. Key tasks include QA testing of emails, maintaining list hygiene, and ensuring compliance with legal standards.
