Candidates must have at least 2 years of call center or relevant customer service experience, possess strong digital proficiency in navigating web-based and e-commerce specific software applications, knowledge bases, instant messaging, and internet searches, and be customer-centric with a high level of empathy and emotional intelligence. Additionally, candidates must be located in Texas, have a secure and distraction-free home workspace, be able to commit to a structured work schedule without primary caregiving duties during work hours, and have a wired internet connection with a minimum speed of 10 mbps download and 4 mbps upload.
Customer Service Representatives will work in a challenging, fast-paced environment handling a high volume of inbound phone-based contacts, driving clarity by asking probing questions to identify the root cause of complex issues, and conveying realistic expectations while identifying the best resolution for eBay, buyers, and sellers. They will demonstrate special care and connection with customers to establish trust and drive brand loyalty, apply judgment to proactively find resolutions, and adhere to performance metrics including average handling time, resolution rate, customer satisfaction, schedule adherence, compliance, and quality.
