The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field, with an advanced degree or HR certification being a plus. Proven experience in leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives, navigating ambiguity, and driving outcomes in entrepreneurial or tech-driven organizations is required. Experience working with offshore teams and leading across cultures is strongly preferred. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and consultative skills are also necessary.
The Director, People Operations will define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for People Operations, aligning with company-wide goals and scaling for future growth. This role involves leading and developing a high-performing People Operations team across the US and Bangladesh, covering talent acquisition, engagement, learning, total rewards, and talent management. The Director will serve as a trusted advisor to executives and senior leaders, influencing company decisions and building leadership capabilities through data and insights. Key responsibilities include overseeing high-impact initiatives, managing the People Operations budget, ensuring compliance, and implementing systems for performance and efficiency. The role also entails championing a culture of trust, inclusion, and engagement, leading culture events, and enhancing the employer brand. Additionally, the Director will act as a senior business partner to Product & Technology leaders, aligning people strategies with business needs, driving organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy. They will lead the organization through growth and transformation with clear, empathetic communication and develop/monitor key people metrics to guide data-driven improvements.
