Candidates should possess 8-12+ years of experience in paid media or growth marketing for consumer subscriptions, marketplaces, or telehealth. A minimum of 3 years leading teams and agencies is required, along with proven ownership of $10M+ annual spend and demonstrable improvements in CAC and LTV:CAC through reallocation, creative, and funnel optimization. Deep expertise in Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, and Programmatic/CTV is essential, as is comfort with affiliate/influencer economics and advanced testing and measurement techniques including geo experiments and lift studies.
The Director, Paid Media will own the end-to-end paid growth plan, including forecasting and managing multi-million-dollar budgets across various channels. Responsibilities include orchestrating omni-channel acquisition, leading agencies and building in-house capabilities, driving creative performance through structured testing, and ensuring regulatory-safe advertising. The role also involves allocating spend with precision based on performance metrics, optimizing conversion funnels in collaboration with Product & Web teams, and safeguarding compliance with platform policies and medical/legal reviews. Additionally, the Director will champion segment mix shifts to attract high-fit personas and build and lead a high-performing team.
