Requirements

Candidates should have 6-10 years of experience leading paid acquisition programs at consumer tech companies, with a strong preference for mobile-first experience. Proven success managing annual budgets of $15M-$20M+ across diverse channels, demonstrating an ability to scale while improving CAC and payback, is essential. A deep understanding of growth strategies and tactics across the acquisition stack, including paid social, search, display, and a willingness to expand into TV and audio, is required. Strong proficiency in performance creative, including building systems and playbooks with design partners to generate high-performing assets, is necessary. Exceptional analytical thinking, clear and persuasive communication skills, familiarity with mobile attribution platforms like Appsflyer, Kochava, or Adjust, and experience managing agencies or junior team members are also key requirements. The ideal candidate thrives in high-ownership environments, comfortable with both strategy setting and execution.

Responsibilities

The Senior Growth Marketing Manager will own and scale user acquisition at Propel, driving sustainable, cost-effective growth through paid media and new channel exploration. This role involves defining strategy, setting the channel mix, and driving growth while maintaining unit economics. Responsibilities include partnering with agencies for high-performing campaigns, managing and optimizing the paid media budget end-to-end, building a high-performing creative engine through testing frameworks, and leading rigorous A/B and incrementality testing. The manager will also advance attribution and modeling capabilities, collaborate with brand, lifecycle, and product teams to drive system-level growth, and manage agencies and vendors with structure and accountability, potentially shaping the future structure of the growth function through hiring and mentoring.
