The Director of Outpatient Services must have a strong understanding of Joint Commission, agency, and state compliance regulations. They should demonstrate proficiency with software, systems, and reports, and possess knowledge of program conceptualization and operational sustainability. Experience in leading and coordinating clinical care services and administrative functions is essential, along with an understanding of key performance indicators and the ability to foster strong community relationships.
The Director of Outpatient Services will lead and be accountable for the operational and clinical components of outpatient service delivery, ensuring quality care access and continuity. Responsibilities include maintaining standard operating procedures, preserving clinical approach and treatment integrity, supporting clinical service leadership in milieu and crisis management, and coordinating intra-departmental communication. They will oversee staff supervision, treatment team meetings, clinical treatment quality, training and development, admissions, patient capacity management, budgeting, and physical plant upkeep. Additionally, the role involves community engagement, employee recruitment and management, and serving as a resource for compliance standards.
