Requirements

Candidates must have 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably within SaaS or developer tools. Proven expertise in content strategy, demand generation, and full-funnel growth is required, along with a strong understanding of data-driven marketing metrics like SEO, CAC, CVR, and LTV. Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Google Ads, Meta), and analytics tools are essential. Familiarity with no-code platforms and prior startup experience are preferred qualifications.

Responsibilities

The Director of Marketing will lead and oversee all marketing activities, including developing and implementing the marketing strategy, managing the budget, and driving brand awareness and sales growth. This role involves analyzing market trends, coordinating marketing campaigns, and aligning marketing goals with business objectives. Key responsibilities include developing and optimizing demand generation campaigns across various channels to drive user acquisition and trial starts, owning performance marketing and conversion funnels, and defining/tracking KPIs to evaluate campaign performance and channel ROI. The Director will also own the marketing roadmap and budget, execute the content marketing strategy, and build compelling narratives to position Thunkable as a leader in no-code and AI-powered development.
