dbt Labs is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Demand Generation and Revenue Marketing to lead our pipeline creation strategy and programs. This high-profile role will oversee Global Campaigns, Field Marketing, Account-Based Marketing (ABM), and Paid Media/SEO. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, and Product leadership to achieve high growth targets. Responsibilities
Strategy and Alignment
- Develop and execute a global demand generation strategy utilizing all relevant marketing channels to generate high-propensity pipeline aligned with revenue objectives.
- Manage the overall demand generation and revenue marketing strategy, programs, and budget, targeting key personas, verticals, and segments.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of demand generation programs, including in-product, scaled digital programs, targeted marketing campaigns, and high-touch field events.
- Manage the media budget and optimize campaign performance for maximum ROI.
Regional Marketing
- Lead global Field Marketing, integrating global campaigns with local execution to achieve pipeline and revenue objectives worldwide.
- Ensure tight alignment between Field Marketing and Field Sales to optimize activities from opportunity creation through to close-win, engaging all personas from developers to C-level business owners.
Digital Campaigns/Paid Media/SEO
- Identify and execute the most efficient strategies through effective content promoted via paid placements.
- Navigate the evolving landscape of earned media to drive top-of-funnel growth.
- Design, execute, and optimize clear, measurable funnels that capture intent and nurture it through to handoff and pipeline creation.
Drive ABM
- Plan, execute, scale, and optimize high-performance ABM programs to meet aggressive demand generation goals and support sales success.
- Support revenue expansion with targeted ABM plays focused on extending value to the existing customer base.
Requirements
- Proven track record as an experienced leader in developing and executing demand generation strategies.
- Experience with both product-led and sales-led growth motions.
- Thorough understanding of the marketing and sales funnel from all sources.
