The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related function with direct customer advocacy and engagement in post-sales roles, demonstrating a passion for customer success, an engineering-first approach, and empathy for customer outcomes. Proven experience working with large, complex enterprises and developing relationships in a high-growth environment is essential, along with a strong track record as an engineer. A deep understanding of Observability, Logs, Metrics, IT Operations, and Security, including managing data pipelines through their entire lifecycle, is required. The candidate must possess excellent communication and relationship management skills, be a quick learner with strong engineering and problem-solving abilities, and have experience working remotely. Willingness to travel up to 25% and residing in the Southeast region of the United States is also necessary.
The Customer Success Engineer will act as a trusted, strategic, and technical advisor to customers, guiding them through the entire Customer Success lifecycle from onboarding to expansion. They will serve as the expert on Cribl products, assisting customers in building their observability platforms and establishing relationships with stakeholders and senior management to drive success plans and KPIs. The role involves leveraging engineering prowess and observability acumen to drive product adoption, develop new use cases related to data management, and keep customers informed about initiatives, troubleshooting, and training opportunities. This position requires effective communication and collaboration with internal teams, acting as the voice of the customer, and occasionally performing duties outside standard working hours due to the remote-first nature of the company.
