Candidates must possess at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry and 5 years of experience in customer success, professional services, or technical pre-sales. A strong technical aptitude to master Procore's products, business model, services, and emerging technologies is required, along with outstanding presentation and communication skills. The ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders on time-sensitive projects is essential, as are strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Understanding of the construction industry across different verticals, with previous experience as a construction Project Manager, Site Super, Project Finance Manager, Estimator, or Project Engineer is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, or CS is preferred, along with experience managing construction projects including bidding, procurement, RFIs, submittals, drawings, specifications, documents, schedule, quality control, and safety. External candidates must be based in a Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone.
The Senior Customer Success Engineer will act as a product champion and subject matter expert for Procore, driving customer success in adopting the platform and realizing business performance gains. This role involves understanding best practices around construction technology and solutions, and leveraging a consultative mindset and knowledge of the construction industry and Procore's software platforms to provide clients with recommendations on maximizing value. Responsibilities include making data-driven recommendations based on customer analytics and industry best practices, crafting value-based presentations to accelerate adoption, and providing product roadmap and release updates. The role also entails driving product demonstrations, coordinating technical resources, serving as a technical account manager with high responsiveness and customer service, fostering a positive team culture through support and collaboration, and developing mastery of Procore's products and industry best practices. Up to 50% travel to client sites, industry events, and other Procore offices may be required.
