Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related function with direct customer advocacy and engagement in post-sales roles, demonstrating a passion for customer success and empathy for customer outcomes. A customer-first mindset with excellent communication and relationship management skills is essential, along with a proven track record of working with large, complex enterprises in a high-growth environment. Experience with Observability, Logs, Metrics, IT Operations, and Security, including deep understanding of managing data pipelines, is required. Proven ability to drive continuous product value by developing new use cases for data reduction, reuse, enrichment, and routing is necessary. Strong technical and problem-solving skills, experience with Data Engineering platforms (Splunk, Elastic, Datadog, Snowflake, etc.), and administration of Customer Success Platforms (GainSight, PlanHat) are needed. Working knowledge of major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), experience working remotely, fluent English communication skills, and a willingness to travel up to 25% are also required. Candidates must reside in Singapore.
The Customer Success Engineer will act as a trusted and strategic advisor for customers, guiding them through the entire Customer Success lifecycle from onboarding to expansion. They will become the Cribl expert for customers building observability pipelines and establish relationships with stakeholders and senior management to drive success plans and KPIs. Responsibilities include communicating effectively with tech-touch customers via a customer success platform, driving expanded value by identifying and developing new use cases for data transformation, and collaborating cross-functionally with Cribl sales, marketing, product, experience, and engineering teams as the voice of the customer. The role involves ensuring customers achieve value from their Cribl purchases and continue to grow as customers, as well as inspiring and mentoring team members. Occasional duties may be performed outside standard working hours due to the remote-first nature of the company and global team distribution.
