Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and have experience in silicon validation, preferably in SERDES, DDR, or high-speed interface design. They should also have experience in system marginality validation and a good understanding of lab equipment and measurement techniques for high-speed interfaces, including high-speed scopes, probes, and BERTs. Knowledge of board and package design, signal integrity, and power integrity is a plus, along with familiarity with DDR training and memory system operation. Furthermore, proficiency in Python for test scripting, data handling, and reporting, and laboratory experience with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers are required.

Responsibilities

The Post Silicon Validation Engineer will be responsible for bringing up and characterizing the C2C, PCIe, CXL, DDRx, and LPDDR controller/chips, validating SRAM and Vmin optimization, scripting and processing test data, developing software test applications for product stress and SLT screening, optimizing SLT test time, including shift-right strategies, and performing root cause analysis and RMA processing. They will collaborate with software teams to evaluate system performance and HW/SW interaction, mentor junior engineers when needed, debug issues with SOC IP and boards, and optimize test time, DPM, and yield for effective production screens.
