Requirements

Candidates must possess a BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with over 12 years of experience in designing and building distributed systems and infrastructure. A demonstrated ability to write code in Golang, Java, C, C++, Python, or Rust is required, as is experience with Kubernetes and/or distributed task scheduling. A strong background in Infrastructure, Networking, Storage, and DevOps scripting/tooling, along with experience deploying AI/ML workloads and an understanding of data storage technologies (databases, file, block, blob), are necessary. Candidates should also demonstrate an ability to reach cross-functional consensus without all the details and possess a strong bias towards action and the ability to drive to resolution cross-functionally. Expert knowledge with cloud-based deployments across compute, storage, and networking environments is expected, along with a strong understanding of application portability between CSPs, NCPs, and on-premise solutions. Familiarity with open source technologies for cloud deployments is also needed. A strong AI and/or machine learning background is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Senior Customer Success Engineer will partner closely with internal customers to understand their needs and applications, assisting them in onboarding to DGX Cloud platforms and developing best practices for success in a cloud environment. They will provide guidance, give feedback to engineering and product teams, and develop solutions to aid in customer success. The role involves informing partner teams of standard methodologies and helping implement best practices for cloud-based solutions, gaining a deep understanding of how NVIDIA develops across multiple verticals. This position requires presenting to internal stakeholders and NVIDIA leadership on roadmaps, vision, and demos, and advocating for customer needs across the organization by partnering closely with Engineering, Product, Program, Sales, and Operations. The engineer will bring the voice of the customer to all aspects of their work and recommend approaches to engineering teams to expedite implementation for customers.
