Candidates must have a Splunk ITSI Certified Administrator certification, a Splunk Architect Certification or higher, and 2-3 years of experience working with Splunk ITSI. A minimum of 6-8 years of relevant market experience is required, along with experience designing and implementing distributed Splunk ITSI installations and advanced configuration of Splunk ITSI. Experience maintaining and administering enterprise Splunk ITSI, developing custom ITSI Glass Tables, and working in Linux and Windows environments with storage configuration, SELinux, and file permissions is necessary. Familiarity with Linux distributions, excellent written and oral skills, and the ability to work closely with customers are also required. Preferred qualifications include Splunk Core Consultant Certification, AWS/Azure cloud experience, Cribl experience, Axonius familiarity, and development/API experience. U.S. Citizenship is required.
The Splunk ITSI Engineer will support the design, implementation, and administration of federal customers' Splunk ITSI environments and integration with enterprise Splunk environments and other tools. Responsibilities include creating meaningful glass tables and views using data, configuring storage subsystems, SELinux, and file permissions, and working closely with multiple customers to manage expectations and track engagement scope.
