Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related function with direct customer advocacy and engagement in post-sales roles, demonstrating a passion for customer success and an engineering-first approach. Experience with Observability, Logs, Metrics, IT Operations, and Security, including managing data pipelines through their lifecycle, is required. The role also requires strong engineering and problem-solving skills, a willingness to travel up to 15-20%, and residency in the San Francisco Bay Area. Experience with Data Engineering/Analytics platforms such as Splunk, Elastic, or Datadog is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Customer Success Engineer will act as a primary post-sales customer advocate, ensuring customer adoption and value realization through technical advisory. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, driving enablement, adoption, and value plans, and identifying opportunities for Cribl. The role involves keeping abreast of customer needs, driving use case initiatives, troubleshooting, and advocating for training. Collaboration with Cribl's sales, marketing, product, experience, and engineering teams is crucial, serving as the voice of the customer. Additionally, the CSE will track customer metrics and information within the Cribl Customer Success Platform and mentor team members.
