Requirements

5+ years of experience in solutions architecture for customer engagements
Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly BigQuery
Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and NodeJS
Strong communication skills for working with both business and technical customers
Prior experience in a customer-facing engineering role
Experience in building and leading technical product demonstrations that include APIs
Experience in responding to functional and technical questions and providing feedback to Dow Jones Product and Technology teams on emerging requirements
Degree in Computer Science or relevant experience
Experience working with Cloud services for data ingestion, processing, and storage. (Highly Desired)
Understanding of Machine Learning techniques, specifically Natural Language Processing (NLP) and text mining. (Highly Desired)
Coding skills in any modern programming language. (Highly Desired)
Familiarity with XML and Restful APIs. (Highly Desired)
Experience and familiarity with Dow Jones data products including Factiva, Newswires, and Risk & Compliance. (Highly Desired)
Language proficiency in Korean and English is essential

Responsibilities

Understand customers’ technical and business requirements and design a technical solution using Dow Jones data and services
Work closely with Sales Specialists, providing technical pre-sales support and implementation guidance
Develop a strong relationship with customers’ engineering teams or third-party integrators
Advise and guide prospective customers during their integration of Dow Jones data and services, including building and managing proof of concepts
Share best practices, model designs, etc., with prospects and customers
Provide feedback to Dow Jones Product and Technology teams on emerging requirements, themes, and customer technology trends
Contribute to the team’s portfolio of best practices and processes
Be aware of emerging technologies and techniques beneficial to the role and team
