Requirements

  • At least 2-5 years of new business sales or account management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS
  • Experience sourcing and selling deals in the $25k-$250k ARR range and running a full sales cycle independently
  • Comfort with basic sales tools and ability to utilize internal systems to surface upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills and persistent follow-through on commitments to customers
  • Works well with other teams and wants to own projects outside of just closing deals
  • Self-sufficient with a strong internal sense of urgency
  • Comfortable with commercial negotiation and willingness to iterate selling style as needed

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business to drive expansion and retention by proactively identifying customer needs, uncovering growth opportunities, and positioning solutions to maximize customer value
  • Execute a consistent and strategic sales process across the full customer lifecycle, including discovery, value articulation, negotiation, and close
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Implementation, Support, and Product teams to ensure seamless execution, customer satisfaction, and long-term partnership success
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene in sales tools, and regularly report on progress toward individual and team targets
  • Continuously sharpen sales skills and deepen product knowledge by staying current on Ironclad’s capabilities and developing a strong understanding of customer outcomes
