Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in fast-paced environments, ideally in consulting or sales. A charismatic and street-smart nature is essential, along with the ability to lead complex enterprise accounts through the sales process. Fluency in the local language and English is required, as well as a deep understanding of local culture and business dynamics.
The Country Lead will be responsible for leading Root's expansion into new markets by designing the go-to-market strategy and securing key players as the first person on the ground. They will develop a market-specific sales strategy, close deals with top key processors, and foster strong relationships with stakeholders. Additionally, they will align with the co-founder and other European Country Leads on market progress, establish the business in their respective country, and mentor new team members.
