Candidates should possess a minimum of 5-6 years of directly related experience, with preference for experience supporting Fund Administration, Transfer Agency, or the banking industry. They require strong instructional design and/or organization development skills, the ability to facilitate discussions and reach decisions, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of a wide range of tools and delivery techniques, or expertise within a specific content area or delivery methodology, is also expected. Experience using ADDIE instructional design methodology and familiarity with tools like Captivate, Articulate, or Easy Generator is required.
The Consultant, Training will work with management, performance consultants, and subject matter experts to understand desired business outcomes and translate them into learning and organization development objectives. They will develop and facilitate/deliver learning and organization development programs, identify appropriate external vendors and evaluate their offerings, manage ongoing vendor relationships, and maintain an inventory of training programs. Furthermore, they will analyze learning solutions for continuous improvement, evaluate training effectiveness, and make recommendations for improvements, serving as a key subject matter expert in program design and potentially mentoring junior staff. They will also handle complex analysis, represent the department in meetings, and manage project plans, including identifying subject matter experts.
