Consultant Relations Director

Position Overview

Carrot Fertility is seeking a motivated and experienced Consultant Relations Director (CRD) to expand its reach and revenue by fostering strong relationships with key consultant firms. This role is crucial for educating partners on Carrot's value proposition, identifying new opportunities, and driving revenue growth. The CRD will act as the primary liaison between Carrot and assigned consultant houses, developing and executing tailored strategies aligned with the company's commercial objectives. This position also involves gathering valuable market insights from the consulting community to inform product development and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

  • Building and Deepening Relationships:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with benefit consultants and national broker partners.
    • Build trust and engagement at various levels, from executive leadership to individual consultants.
  • Driving Revenue Growth:
    • Generate net new opportunities.
    • Increase win rates across assigned consultant houses/firms.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams & Supporting Sales:
    • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Client Success teams to ensure coordinated efforts.
    • Ensure critical internal stakeholders are represented appropriately.
  • Providing Market Intelligence:
    • Gather market intelligence and feedback from the consulting community.
    • Inform product development and marketing strategies based on gathered insights.

The Team

The Consultant Relations (CR) team consists of three Consultant Relations Directors, each dedicated to specific consultant firms. This CRD will collaborate closely with their CR colleagues and report within the broader Commercial organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Business, Communications, or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of sales (channel alliance/relationship-oriented) or consulting experience.
  • Consistent overachievement in quota and revenue goals.
  • Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Business, Communications, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 7 years of sales (channel alliance/relationship oriented) or consulting experience in health, wellness, or SaaS.
  • Excellent Salesforce.com, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions.
  • Consultative Sales experience (either as a consultant or leveraging a consultative sales approach).

The starting base salary for this position will range from $140,000.00 - $160,000.00. Actual compensation may vary based on confirmed job-related skills and experience.
