Candidates should have experience in construction management roles such as Asset Manager, Construction Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Director of Information Systems and Technology. Prior experience with the Procore platform is preferred, but a passion for construction technology is required. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and active listening skills are essential, along with the ability to establish credibility with diverse audiences from foremen to executives. Proven performance in a pre-sales support role is preferred.
The Commercial Solutions Engineer will partner with Account Executives to provide technical expertise during the sales process, supplementing demonstrations with knowledge of cloud-based software and the Procore platform. This role involves acting as the expert voice, participating in technical demonstrations, answering RFPs, and collaborating with Customer Success, Implementation, Marketing, and Product teams. Responsibilities include owning pre-sales technical support from initial contact to close, addressing prospects' technical challenges to close new business, and enabling new Account Executives through training and support. The role requires complete mastery of Procore’s product offerings and business model, effective communication with team members, and cross-functional collaboration to develop best practices and connect clients with product managers.
