Candidates should possess at least 5 years of demonstrated successful software sales experience, preferably B2B, and a proven record of success in an inside or outside sales-based selling model. They must also demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively via telephone and email with customers, as well as resilience to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and build and manage a sales pipeline.
As a Commercial Account Executive, the role involves developing territory and account plans for new prospects, researching accounts, identifying key players, generating interest, obtaining business requirements, and closing new logo business to achieve or exceed quarterly and annual targets. The position also requires partnering with Sales Development and Solution Engineer teams, maintaining accurate forecasts, providing sales management with reports, pursuing knowledge of key competitors, managing leads and opportunities in Salesforce.com, and networking, building relationships, and conducting cold calling and lead follow-up activities.
