Position Overview

  • Salary: $50-69 hourly plus commission (Estimated On-Target Earnings: $209K - $288K) + Equity Compensation

This role focuses on acquiring new strategic mid-sized customers for Procore, a leading construction software solution. Responsibilities include lead generation, qualification, solution selling, negotiation, and closing new business opportunities. This position reports into the Manager, Commercial Sales.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of demonstrated successful software sales, preferably B2B
  • Experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology desired
  • Proven record of success in an inside sales and/or outside sales based selling model
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively via telephone and email with customers
  • Ability and resilience to work in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Proven ability to build and manage pipeline and forecasting

Responsibilities

  • Develop territory and account plans for new prospects.
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and obtain business requirements.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Solutions Engineers (SEs) to create and close new logo opportunities.
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date forecasts and provide sales management with reports on sales activities and projects.
  • Pursue an increased knowledge of key competitors to effectively communicate Procore’s value proposition.
  • Manage and maintain accurate leads, opportunities, and account information within Salesforce.com.
  • Networking, relationship building, cold calling, lead follow-up through emails, product demonstrations, and execution of service agreements.
