Candidates should have 5+ years of demonstrated successful software sales experience, preferably B2B, and a proven record of success in an inside or outside sales model. Experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology is desired, along with the ability to communicate effectively via telephone and email, build and manage pipeline and forecasting, and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
The Commercial Account Executive will acquire new strategic mid-sized customers by applying knowledge of Procore’s products, sales methodology, and prospecting techniques. Responsibilities include following up on inbound leads, prospecting, qualifying, solution selling, negotiation, closing new logo opportunities, developing territory and account plans, researching accounts, identifying key players, generating interest, obtaining business requirements, partnering with Sales Development and Solution Engineer teams, maintaining accurate forecasts and sales reports, pursuing competitor knowledge, and managing leads, opportunities, and account information in Salesforce.com.
