Requirements

Candidates must possess a University Degree in Life Sciences, Pharma, or Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. A strong command of English, both written and verbal, is required, with additional languages being advantageous. A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare sales, preferably in the diagnostics or point-of-care (POC) field, is necessary. Familiarity with the healthcare industry and private healthcare providers in the designated territory is essential, and existing relationships with key customers are a plus. Responsibilities

The Clinical & Sales Specialist is responsible for achieving assigned sales quotas by promoting new and existing products through relevant marketing activities, including product presentations and competitor analysis. This role involves conducting sales calls to maximize efficiency, implementing Go-to-Market strategies aligned with regional and global approaches, and building strong partnerships with target accounts via a consultative selling approach to Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). The specialist will appraise customer needs, advise on product and service applications, and cooperate closely with distributor sales teams to develop and execute local sales strategies. Responsibilities also include supporting distribution partners with training, sales meetings, technical expertise, and marketing support, providing forecasts and business reports, performing demand planning and forecasting, collecting market intelligence, and representing Abbott professionally and ethically.
