  • Understanding of the Cloud Service Provider vertical industry
  • Comfortable and experienced with C-level engagement and cultivating executive relationships
  • Knowledge of the AI market landscape and experience selling HPE HPC/AI solutions

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new business, build relationships, and close deals with a strong emphasis on outbound sales activities and building a pipeline of new leads
  • Own overall account responsibility for pipeline and forecasting, executing against growth and profitability goals across HPE's portfolio by positioning strategic solutions
  • Build strong customer relationships, with a heavy focus on executive level interactions
  • Leverage partner ecosystems to maximize HPE’s presence in the account
  • Understand the customer’s IT and business objectives, priorities, requirements, and challenges, and add value by implementing HPE’s strategy
  • Drive business performance for all HPE business units and manage the portfolio mix to optimize profitability of the account
  • Build and develop relevant customer relationship networks with key influencers and decision makers in IT and business
  • Develop and engage with the extended partner ecosystem
  • Constantly develop information technology industry knowledge to position HPE’s portfolio in the account
  • Orchestrate, engage, guide, and provide feedback to the extended account team members
  • Act as customer’s advocate inside HPE
  • Plan for accounts to deliver results through the financial year and beyond
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key influencers and decision-makers
  • Understand customer IT and business objectives to align HPE solutions with their priorities
  • Build and execute plans to drive growth and profitability, identify opportunities, lead pipeline building, and drive deals to closure through multi-disciplinary teams
  • Apply knowledge of the AI market landscape and experience selling HPE HPC/AI solutions to drive sales and customer engagement
  • Develop and govern partner relationships to maximize HPE's presence in accounts
  • Lead the extended account team, providing feedback and guidance to ensure successful sales engagements
