Strong management skills, excellent written and oral communication, creativity, problem-solving abilities, obsessive attention to detail, strong quantitative and analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of corporate matrixed management structures are essential. A Master's degree, previous experience as a Business Planner or Chief of Staff, and experience in high-tech, software, or automotive industries are advantageous.
The Business Planner will manage strategic and tactical business activities for senior executive staff, assist in executing work commitments, and develop presentations and briefing materials. Responsibilities include supporting senior executive staff, organizing business operations, driving efficient operating processes, developing and maintaining multi-year business strategies, and managing the portfolio/business planning process. The role involves summarizing project business cases, assessing initiative execution against the business plan, analyzing and reporting on key operating metrics, handling special assignments, and conducting presentations for all management levels. Additionally, the Business Planner will identify and implement process improvements, run cross-functional projects, solve problems, and work proactively in an ambiguous, action-oriented environment with limited direction and high autonomy.
