Requirements

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent professional experience is required, along with over 5 years in Value Engineering, professional services, customer success, or strategic customer-facing roles. Proven experience managing enterprise customers in complex environments, hands-on experience with ECAD software, PLM integrations, and PCB design processes are essential. Candidates must possess a strategic mindset, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and a willingness to travel monthly. Fluency in English is required, and German proficiency is beneficial for EU roles. Altium product experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

The Strategic Business Advisor will provide consulting services to enterprise customers, identifying bottlenecks in their electronic hardware development process and recommending Altium solutions. Responsibilities include conducting industry research, developing content and messaging strategies for target accounts and executive audiences, and leading value assessment workshops to quantify financial and operational impacts of Altium solutions. The advisor will present Altium's value proposition to decision-makers, collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Support teams, and track multiple customer priorities to ensure deliverables meet expectations and timelines. Regular travel to customer sites in the US and Europe for onsite engagements is expected.
