Requirements

Candidates should have 0-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in sales, business development, or lead generation. A tech-savvy attitude is required, along with experience or willingness to learn sales tools such as Hubspot, Apollo, SalesNav, LinkedIn, and Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for crafting compelling outreach messages. Candidates must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage multiple outreach activities simultaneously. A coachable mindset and eagerness to learn and refine sales strategies based on feedback are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Business Development Representative will generate and qualify leads through strategic outbound prospecting, targeting trust & safety, legal, and compliance leaders. They will execute multi-channel outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to engage key decision-makers and book discovery meetings. Conducting initial conversations to understand prospect needs and assessing fit will be key duties, along with ensuring smooth handoffs to the GTM team. Maintaining accurate tracking of outreach activities, interactions, and pipeline progression in the CRM is also required, as well as providing insights from customer interactions to help refine sales messaging and go-to-market strategy.
