Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary coach for a team of quota-carrying Business Development Representatives (BDRs), providing comprehensive coaching on all facets of the sales process, from calls, emails, to crafting effective talk tracks, and guiding them to achieve and exceed targets
  • Develop and implement best practice operating strategies for the business development team, encompassing hiring, onboarding, training, and management of BDRs
  • Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with team members to monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and discuss professional development
  • Act as a player-coach by actively engaging in prospecting key accounts as part of the sales team's strategic initiatives
  • Partner with Marketing to craft and evaluate Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns, ensuring synchronization of sales and marketing efforts
  • Educate and guide BDRs on AssetWatch's corporate messaging and strategy, ensuring consistent outreach that communicates the value proposition
  • Oversee the efficient routing of sales leads and the effective use of sales tools by the BDR team
  • Foster a culture of hard work, inclusivity, and collaboration
  • Refine processes to achieve lead generation goals, monitor team metrics, and ensure achievement of KPIs
  • Proactively oversee the expansion of the sales pipeline, forecasting challenges, and devising strategies to overcome them
