High school diploma or G.E.D. is required, along with a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience. Waste or transportation industry experience is preferred.
The Associate Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and retaining relationships with existing customers for permanent commercial and industrial waste services. This includes making outbound calls and receiving inbound calls to retain business, as well as increasing customer penetration by selling additional services. The role involves performing contractual re-signs, responding to cancellation requests, and communicating with customers regarding pricing initiatives. Daily utilization of Salesforce for scheduling and documenting activities is required, along with capturing customer emails and minimizing rate restrictions and customer credits. The Associate Account Manager will also meet regularly with the Sales Manager to review progress and customer relationships.
