Why This Role is Exciting

AuditBoard is seeking an Alliance Solutions Manager with a strong background in one or more of the following areas: Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, internal audit, enterprise risk management, or IT and security compliance.

This individual will aspire to become a product expert on the AuditBoard platform, capable of navigating complex risk/audit/control environments, persuading partners to adopt technology for their customers' ARC environments, and articulating a high-value proposition. The role involves facilitating product demonstrations and training, addressing product and sales inquiries, seeking inclusion in new sales opportunities, and collaborating seamlessly with AuditBoard Alliance Directors, Area Directors, and Account Executives to drive field penetration and traction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Seek opportunities to evangelize AuditBoard’s value to partners.
  • Lead compelling demonstrations and training of the AuditBoard suite of products to AuditBoard partners, tailored to their Go-To-Market (GTM) approach, through online or onsite meetings.
  • Maintain accurate mapping of partners’ field teams, penetration rates across our practice lines, and identify opportunities to increase our footprint.
  • Maintain deep competitor intelligence to present key product competitive differentiators to partners.
  • Mentor and cross-train partner resources, developing their skills and expertise.
  • Support AuditBoard’s key partners as the go-to subject matter expert on AuditBoard.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, CAS, Marketing, Sales, and Legal, serving as an advocate for partners.
  • Manage and maintain partner demo sites and sandboxes.
  • Attend networking events and conferences to build relationships that create new business opportunities.

Attributes of a Successful Candidate

  • 5-9 years of working experience within Big 4 consulting, Internal Audit, Compliance, and/or Risk Management.
  • BS in Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • Expert understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and internal audit methodology.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Risk Management is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, critical thinking, and project management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, presentation, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Successful demonstrated experience managing and working with internal cross-functional teams and product engineering groups.
  • Successful demonstrated experience communicating and reporting to Senior leadership.

Nice to Have:

  • Understanding of common compliance frameworks such as COBIT, SOC, COSO, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS, HITRUST, and industry-recognized guidance such as NIST.
  • Ability to flourish in a high-growth and fast-paced tech environment.
  • Is a builder, works well in newly created roles, and enjoys them.
  • Ability to travel for onsite meetings (expectation 30%-40%).
  • Deep understanding of AuditBoard functionality/technical product preferred.
