Snowflake is seeking an Alliance Manager to support its global leadership in the Microsoft Partnership. This role will focus on executing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy, leveraging Snowflake's position as a Microsoft Global ISV partner. This partnership drives hundreds of co-sell deals annually, generating hundreds of millions of dollars. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals with prior experience working with cloud providers, particularly Microsoft, who wish to expand their impact on our business.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years specifically in cloud provider ISV alliance management or equivalent experience.
  • Microsoft Expertise: Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft in an alliance capacity, including a strong understanding of Azure Marketplace, Partner Center, and Microsoft's funding programs.
  • Sales Acumen: Experience collaborating with field sales teams and a solid understanding of how partnerships function at the account level.
  • Relationship Management: Proven ability to foster and drive relationships within the relevant business lines of the alliance.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining robust relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including marketing, consulting resources, technical teams, and sales representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management: Assist the global partnership leader in advising on and tracking senior-level alignment and engagements, including defining and monitoring "next steps" from key meetings.
  • Alliance Operations: Establish and maintain operational rigor to support the co-sell motion. This includes:
    • Overseeing the internal Microsoft partnership program, which involves regular meetings with key GTM workstream owners and maintaining status reports.
    • Ensuring enablement assets are current and regularly reviewed, identifying any gaps, and taking action to address them with new collateral.
  • Co-sell Reporting: Execute monthly co-sell reporting to Microsoft.
  • Sales Support: Provide support to a global team of cloud partner sales managers.
  • Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for co-sell related issues concerning sales plays, Microsoft Partner Center, and other related topics, including user oversight, incentive tracking, and co-sell exceptions.
  • Partnership Communications: Support the global partnership leader in executing a strategic communication plan. This may include developing regular newsletters for Microsoft sellers, conducting internal partner business reviews, submitting award nominations, and amplifying external communications related to the partnership.
  • Industry Coordination: Act as a liaison to industry GTM teams to align on and execute go-to-market strategies with Microsoft, including the development of enablement materials.
