About the Role:

Vercel is seeking a Senior Partner Solutions Engineer to join our partnerships team. This position will spearhead technical engagements with solution and product partners, identifying avenues for growth and executing plans that yield business impact. Partner Solutions Engineers collaborate with partner engineering, sales, and product teams to increase the adoption of Vercel's products and cultivate robust technical relationships.

A primary focus for this role will be expanding Vercel's enterprise e-commerce partnerships and customer base. Prior experience in building and deploying e-commerce applications with Next.js and Vercel is preferred.

This role will serve as a developer advocate for Vercel and Next.js across solution and product partners, acting as the subject matter expert for these teams. You will promote best practices, conduct technical workshops, publish guides, and inspire partners through demonstrations, enablement sessions, and live events.

Partner Solution Engineers require a strong background in web development, particularly in frontend development, cloud infrastructure, networking, and modern application development. Excellent coordination skills across multiple partners and time zones are essential, as is the ability to build lasting relationships with product champions, users, and executives.

If you are located within a predetermined commuting distance of one of our offices (San Francisco, New York, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. What You Will Do:

• Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor to key partners, engineering leadership, and stakeholders.
• Identify strategic opportunities for partnership collaboration and execute projects to deliver business outcomes.
• Align technical roadmaps, integrations, and ecosystem strategies with partners and Vercel’s teams.
• Create and deliver technical enablement on Next.js and Vercel best practices.
• Support partner engineering teams in building and launching frontend applications on Vercel.
• Collaborate closely with sales teams and provide technical support to prospects and customers.
• Perform technical audits of frontend applications to optimize performance and user experience.
• Build Next.js templates and demos that showcase partner product integrations and demonstrate the value of Vercel and Next.js.
• Present technical workshops and demonstrations at in-person events, conferences, and live webinars.
• Champion DevRel initiatives, including content creation, training, and community engagement for partners.

About You:

• You are passionate about building first-class user experiences on the web.
• You possess a strong understanding of web architecture, frontend development, and serverless computing.
• You have 4+ years of experience as a solutions engineer, advising or consulting engineering teams.
• You have 6+ years of experience building and launching frontend applications using Next.js or React.
• You have experience building and launching digital storefronts that integrated enterprise e-commerce platforms.
• You are experienced in developer relations, encompassing training sessions, talks, and technical content production.
• You have a results-driven mindset and are experienced working in a fast-paced environment.
• You are comfortable working with remote, globally distributed cross-functional teams.
• You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
