Requirements

5–7 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience
Experience interacting with vendors and customers in a technical and engineering environment
Extensive understanding of pricing programs and models within the electronics industry
Comprehensive ability to develop strategic plans for all assigned accounts
In-depth knowledge of Arrow’s key supplier lines and full set of Arrow offerings
Proficiency in sales tracking systems, including SalesForce.com and Oracle
Ability to build relationships with key suppliers
Experience in a sales compensation plan with variable OTE tied to sales-related goals
In-depth knowledge and experience to solve complex problems using existing solutions
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
Capacity to act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and provide informal guidance to junior staff

Responsibilities

Define critical markets and new customers in the assigned sales territory, plan strategy, and develop key relationships to ensure strong foundation for solution selling
Maintain and promote relationships with customer contacts determining design opportunities and dealing with existing business challenges
Ensure customer satisfaction pertaining to supply chain management and other value-added services
Sell and market the full set of Arrow offerings
Prepare comprehensive internal quarterly business reviews (iQBR), presenting strategic plans and implementation steps to grow sales, demand creation, and improve customer service
Lead regular QBRs with major customers to unlock additional sales opportunities
Promote and sell value-add, supply chain, and full life cycle programs offered by Arrow
Contribute to process improvements
Participate in a sales compensation plan tied to specific sales-related goals
