Requirements

Responsibilities

The Senior Staff Electrical Component Engineer will conduct thorough analysis of electrical components, evaluate their specifications and performance, and identify potential risks related to selection and integration. They will collaborate closely with the design engineering team to understand project requirements and provide input on component selection, assist in defining component needs, and offer technical support during development. The role involves researching and sourcing appropriate components, engaging with suppliers, and maintaining an understanding of the component market. Furthermore, the engineer will support troubleshooting, maintain records of component processes, prepare technical reports, and participate in the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process. They will also monitor component performance, identify improvement opportunities, and utilize Agile methodologies and document control systems to manage workflows and documentation.
