Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience managing or leading a team of technical professionals, preferably in a release management capacity
  • 5+ years of experience in release management, software development, or a related role
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and release management principles
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tooling

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and empower a team of Technical Release Managers, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and excellence
  • Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the Release Operations team, ensuring it aligns with company-wide goals
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for release-related issues and escalations, working with senior stakeholders to resolve challenges and mitigate risks
  • Drive the evolution of our release processes and tooling, championing initiatives that improve efficiency, quality, and predictability
  • Establish and maintain a robust set of release metrics and reporting dashboards to provide clear visibility into the health and performance of our delivery pipeline
  • Oversee the high-level management of release-related risks and major incidents
