The Account Manager will oversee and expand business relationships with targeted clients, developing and implementing strategy, sales plans, and forecasts. This role involves generating and developing added-value business with existing clients, managing consistent growth within a client base, and making new contacts with clients and strategic partners. They will attend conventions, conferences, and trade shows, prepare post-event reports, and regularly interact with executives of major clients. Analyzing client needs, promoting company services, managing sales and business development plans, and formulating objectives for high-value relationships are key duties. The role also includes understanding prospective client cultures, product portfolios, competitive positions, financial states, and key decision makers, acting as a liaison between clients and operations staff, negotiating contracts, generating reports, and promoting company programs and services.
