Experience in B2B SaaS, particularly within the SMB sector with a focus on short deal cycles, is required. The role also demands strong empathy for customers, a proven track record of customer retention, and the technical competency to understand Vanta’s software and build relationships with technical prospects. Stellar problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for making an early impact at a startup are also essential.
The Account Executive will identify high-potential business verticals and develop outbound strategies to engage them with Vanta. They will manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing, aiming to expedite deals within a 30-day timeframe. Responsibilities include converting inbound demand into closed business, managing the sales pipeline, improving the sales process, defining and communicating Vanta’s benefits to customers, and collecting prospect insights for product development.
