Candidates should have at least 3 years of sales experience, preferably in selling technical products, with a track record of top performance and at least 2 years in an outbound role. Strong presentation and communication skills are essential, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders. A proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements and multi-product sales is required, along with superior verbal and written communication skills in English. Candidates should possess the ability to understand complex technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple products, and should have a strong interest in technology and a good understanding of the payment space.
The Account Executive will own the full sales cycle and manage the territory from prospecting to closing deals. They will be accountable for increasing revenue and acquiring new clients, while representing Airwallex at client meetings and events, which may require some travel. Meticulous usage of CRM and forecasting will also be a key responsibility.
