Requirements

Candidates must have 5+ years of successful Account Executive sales experience within public sector entities, with demonstrable knowledge selling into Higher Education and K12 districts. UCaaS/SaaS/Cloud selling experience and significant industry knowledge are required, along with a proven history of meeting sales quotas and growing territory revenues. Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and an in-territory physical presence for customer meetings are also expected.

Responsibilities

The Account Executive will sell Zoom’s UCaaS collaboration platform to Higher Education and K-12 school districts, driving net new opportunities and engaging technical resources as needed. Responsibilities include building trusted relationships with decision-makers, engaging with executive-level administrators and IT staff, meeting sales objectives, and working strategically with management to deliver forecasts and identify opportunities. The role involves creating and delivering client demos, presentations, quotes, proposals, and Quarterly Business Reviews, as well as prospecting net new logos, developing existing accounts, and managing complex sales situations.
