Candidates must have 4+ years of direct software sales experience and 3+ years of industry experience is a plus. Experience selling business management or solution-based offerings requiring deep discovery and executive alignment is necessary. The role requires the ability to manage high velocity and high complexity deals in a mid-market business environment, proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, presentation skills, PowerPoint, and software demonstrations. A proven ability to generate leads, nurture, and convert new business, optimize marketing-generated opportunities, identify customer needs, position solutions with executive alignment, and a history of above-target performance, especially in a startup environment are essential. Comprehensive and current knowledge of company offerings is also required.
The Account Executive will develop sales strategies and consistently meet or exceed quotas. They will move leads from qualified prospect to closed customer, monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products. Responsibilities include presenting and demonstrating the value of products and services to prospective buyers, compiling and analyzing data to find trends, and maintaining a database of contact information. The role involves building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experience, handling complaints and negotiations, and working to develop relationships and sell to potential customers.
