Candidates should possess over 5 years of experience successfully closing enterprise deals valued at $150k+ and carrying a $1 million+ quota. High proficiency in selling Software as a Service (SaaS) and cloud-based solutions to enterprise customers is required, along with proven experience building relationships and selling face-to-face to C-level executives. Experience supporting Trials or Proof of Concepts and a proven track record in building direct customer strategies and creating relationships across customer departments are also necessary. The ability to learn, pitch, and demonstrate a technical product and adapt in a fast-growing, changing environment is essential.
The Enterprise Account Executive will create a business development plan and close new customers using strategic sales tactics, including emails, phone calls, web-based demos, and face-to-face meetings. Responsibilities include sourcing and closing new business within the Enterprise segment, influencing and owning the sales process, driving meaningful outcomes and ARR growth, and leveraging cross-functional teams to convert high-impact prospects into long-term customers. This role involves working with Fleetio’s largest prospects, developing strategic territory business plans, navigating complex organizational structures with multi-layer stakeholders, researching customer business objectives, performing value-driven sales cycles, and collaborating with internal partners to move deals forward and ensure customer success. The Account Executive will consistently deliver ARR revenue targets, drive success through a metric-based approach, develop and execute sales strategies to generate pipeline and drive sales opportunities, provide timely input back to Product Management, Customer Success, and Account Management, create ROI and business justification reports, and run tight POCs based on business success criteria.
