Candidates should have over 3 years of quota-carrying experience in selling horizontal SaaS solutions to multi-stakeholder or technical organizations at the SMB and mid-market level. A proven track record of closing software deals over $50K and meeting sales quotas is necessary. Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and tools like Zapier is required, along with the ability to discuss IT concerns such as security and scalability. Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop senior-level relationships effectively are essential.
The Account Executive will drive revenue for Zapier by owning the entire sales cycle from lead generation to close. They will deeply understand customer needs and pain points, navigate complex multi-party sales, and build trust through consultative conversations. Collaboration with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success Managers, and Leadership to create strategic adoption plans for customers is expected. Additionally, they will manage sales activity and revenue forecasting in Hubspot and provide recommendations to product teams to influence the Enterprise roadmap.
