Zapier is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our growing Sales team. You’ll be responsible for selling Zapier’s Automation platform offerings to customers globally. This role focuses on selling to companies with employee counts between 250-999, utilizing both inbound and outbound channels, and engaging with executive buyers and technical end users. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer success and program outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of demonstrated quota-carrying success in selling horizontal SaaS solutions to multi-stakeholder or technical organizations at the SMB and mid-market level.
  • Sales Focus: Proven track record of success in closing SMB and Mid-Market software deals over $50K, and meeting or exceeding sales quota.
  • Technical Understanding: Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and tools like Zapier, with the ability to explain their importance in modern tech ecosystems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both with customers and within an organization.
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to develop and navigate senior-level relationships quickly and effectively.
  • Knowledge: Demonstrated ability to discuss IT concerns, including security, scalability, compliance, and performance, in a credible and knowledgeable manner.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue for Zapier, owning the entire sales cycle through close.
  • Deeply understand customer needs and pain points.
  • Navigate complex multi-party sales and win trust through consultative sales conversations with executives.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success Managers, Leadership, etc. to build strategic adoption plans for customers.
  • Own sales activity and monthly revenue forecasting in Hubspot.
  • Provide recommendations to product teams to help influence product development.
