Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of outbound B2B sales experience in fintech, payments, or technology, with proven success selling to eCommerce businesses. A track record of exceeding sales targets in a technical or solution-based selling environment is required, along with a strong understanding of financial technology and its applications in digital commerce. Experience selling to online retailers or marketplaces is essential, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred. Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce and excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills are also necessary.
The Account Executive will develop deep product expertise in Airwallex's platform and technical solutions to effectively serve eCommerce businesses. They will drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, including customer onboarding and success. This role involves exceeding revenue targets through strategic positioning of the financial technology suite and conducting technical consultations to identify client needs and propose tailored solutions. The Account Executive will collaborate with legal, finance, and strategy teams to negotiate and execute partnership agreements and contribute to refining sales processes for enhanced efficiency.
