Role Impact

The Enterprise Account Executive will be instrumental in driving revenue growth for Method's new Card Connect product. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships, this role involves close collaboration with the leadership team to build a strong sales pipeline and enhance sales efforts. The primary focus will be on generating new deals and fostering enduring relationships within the digital payments sector. Success will be measured by the ability to deeply understand customer organizations, their stakeholders, strategic goals, and operational processes to effectively acquire new clients and contribute to Method's overall success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Card Connect and Method products and their respective markets.
  • Generate new revenue by identifying, qualifying, and selling solutions within the digital payments space, including e-commerce, merchants, wallets, card connectivity, payment gateways, one-click-checkout, and tokenization.
  • Identify potential customers and manage a complex end-to-end sales process, from solution scoping to contract finalization.
  • Partner with senior leadership and the marketing team to define the long-term vision and growth strategy, with a focus on key sales and growth performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with the go-to-market team to develop compelling sales collateral, plan events, and execute account-based marketing initiatives.
  • Work with the product team to influence product and business strategy based on customer feedback.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a direct sales role, with specific experience selling in the digital payments space.
  • Demonstrated success as a strategic thinker with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to articulate contractual, technical, and financial value propositions to customers, including executive leadership.
  • Skilled in identifying opportunities and closing deals through strategic negotiation.
