We are seeking an experienced SaaS Account Executive to join our Sales Team. In this role, you will manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and will be instrumental in driving revenue. You will have the autonomy to build your pipeline, close deals, and contribute to the evolution of our sales strategies. Our product boasts market leadership and strong product-market fit, operating within an agile environment that embraces rapid development and continuous feature releases.

We are looking for an individual who excels in fast-paced settings, thrives on building relationships, and is motivated by closing new business. A strong background in B2B software sales, a curious mindset for learning, and a competitive drive are essential. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with passionate professionals in the event marketing industry, including venue operators and live event experts. The Sales team is pivotal to Hive's growth, and we need someone ready to fuel that expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all sales stages, including prospecting, pipeline generation, qualification, product demonstrations, follow-up, negotiation, and closing.
  • Engage with potential customers through various communication channels, including cold calling, email, video conferencing, and LinkedIn.
  • Conduct meetings to deeply understand customer needs and effectively communicate how our solutions address them.
  • Share insights and contribute to best practices and techniques related to industry trends.
  • Prioritize, plan, and manage multiple tasks, with the flexibility to adapt as needed.
  • Identify, recommend, and lead the execution of growth opportunities across different markets.
  • Forecast and manage your sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM, clearly communicating its status.

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of experience successfully managing full-cycle SaaS sales.
  • Confident with excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with customers and colleagues in person, via video, or over the phone.
  • Empathetic, with the ability to understand customers' goals, perspectives, needs, and challenges.
  • Proactive in your work, taking initiative to add value.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and driven to exceed targets.
  • Experience using Salesforce and other CRM tools.
  • Experience with event promotion, event marketing, and email marketing is a plus.

Compensation + Benefits

  • On-Target Earning Potential (Canada): CA$120,000 CAD (CA$70,000 CAD base + CA$50,000 CAD variable pay).
  • US Compensation: Final base salary will be determined by location and experience.
  • Work Location: Fully remote in Canada or the US, allowing you to work from your preferred productive environment. Legal work authorization in your country of residence is required.
    • Note: We are unable to hire within Quebec, Canada at this time.
