Requirements

Candidates must have over 7 years of proven success in a customer-facing sales role, proposing enterprise solutions. Demonstrated selling ability to State and Local Governments and Educational Institutions is required, along with a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience. Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and other CRM tools is necessary, as is comfort working with multiple decision-makers. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, self-motivation, a self-starter attitude, and the ability to work remotely and autonomously are essential. Proven experience negotiating, proposing, and closing contracts with clients is also required, and travel may be necessary.

Responsibilities

The Account Executive will develop and manage a sales pipeline to move strategic transactions through the sales process, generating revenue by selling the Cohesity solution and collaborating with Channel Partners. Responsibilities include penetrating accounts, reaching decision-makers, closing business, defining and implementing sales plans for the assigned territory to meet and exceed quota, and developing and presenting proposals to customers. The role also involves driving account strategies and coordinating team selling efforts with partners to close business on a quarterly and annual basis.
