The Zerto / Data Protection Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales of storage products and solutions within their assigned territory, industry, or accounts. This includes expanding and enhancing existing opportunities by leveraging advanced storage expertise to identify new avenues for customer value. The specialist will create and drive the storage sales pipeline, capture leads, and ensure follow-up through closed-loop lead management. They will collaborate with account pursuit teams, contribute to sales readiness through knowledge transfer, and help develop quota objectives for storage product lines. Additionally, the role involves directing supporting sales activities, maintaining pipeline hygiene, assessing solution feasibility, and negotiating profitable deals to ensure successful closure and a high win rate.
