Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, HRIS, or a related field. A certification in Workday HCM, Workday Recruiting, or Workday Talent is required. The role also requires 2-5 years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or financial software, and demonstrated functional experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or Financials Management. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, along with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
The Principal Consultant will bridge the gap between business and technical teams to solve complex Workday intersystem problems and guide clients through Workday HCM implementation phases. Responsibilities include becoming a Workday Recruiting and Talent product expert, recommending solutions based on client requirements, and guiding customers through design sessions and configuration decisions. The role involves supporting clients through all project phases, managing multiple tasks, collaborating with the integration team for testing, and taking a leadership position on projects. Key activities include hands-on software expertise such as iLoading customer data, moving configuration between tenants, configuring business processes and security, and converting/mapping data sources via iLoads.
